I started working on a cross-stiched baby blanket when I was in college. I joked with my mom that it would be for my own kids someday since it was going to take forever! Little did I know that is what happened. I worked on it daily when I was pregnant with Leila. I took it with me to my 3 hour GD test and it still wasn't done before Leila arrived. I finally finished it and added Leila's name and birthday to it but then found out I was pregant again so I waited to put a backing on until after this baby was born. Gavin arrived and I didn't have any "free" time to sew. But I have finally finished it!
