While we were gone...

Gavin and Leila got a new cousin...Nicole Olivia was born February 19th (my first niece!)  Leila got to meet her on Saturday but the rest of us went to meet her on Sunday.  Welcome Baby Nicole!

Gavin's 1st Trip

Gavin and I went to Eau Claire this past weekend for Amy's bridal shower.  I took him swimming for the first time and he was ok with it.  The water was a little cold.

He even got to meet Buddy's brother Otto.

And a few other babies...A girl (sorry I don't remember her name) and Jennifer and Arlyn's twins - Jacob and Aiden.

Gavin was such a good boy the whole time we were gone.  He slept the whole drive there and the whole way home.  Everybody loved him and we had a wonderful time.

Sleepy Boy

Leila never slept like this!  Gavin fell asleep snuggling with his taggie blanket while I was doing The 30 Day Shred.  I thought it was so cute so I took this picture...

The flash, of course, woke him up.

Outside again...

I think Leila would live outside if I let her.  She took a walk around the backyard with Daddy and Brittany today.

Daddy taught her how to eat snow.

Ready for fun in the snow!

I took both kids out in the snow for a bit.  Leila loves snow and Gavin thought it was pretty neat.  I pulled the kids down the street in the sled and then around the backyard.  Gavin enjoyed it so much he was almost sleeping when it was time to go inside.

Safety First

Leila got a new helmet for when she rides the 4-wheeler with daddy.  Isn't she cute ?

Leila Loves to go outside!

Leila begs to go outside so Chad took her out to get wood one night and they ended up staying out playing on the swingset for an hour.

To get Leila to come in daddy told her she could go out tomorrow. She didn't forget so she got pulled around the backyard and had a blast!

Gavin is 6 Months Old!!!

How did 6 months go by already?  Gavin is getting so big.  He weighs in at an even 19 lbs and 27 inches!  He is such a happy boy and really looks up to Leila.  I can't wait for another great 6 months!

Leila, of course, wanted to be part of the picture taking action.

Independent Sitter/Sleepy Head

Gavin is sure getting big. He sits unsupported now and he is pretty proud of himself.

Leila Growing Up

Leila really wanted to go outside so she got all dressed up with hat and gloves and told me she was leaving. I told her she could go outside without her coat so she took off her hat and gloves.

A few minutes later she grabbed my lunchbox and some mail. She came to me and said bye mama, working. I got a hug and kiss and she was off for the door.
