Gavin's Baptism

Gavin was baptized today at Epiphany by Fr. Zehren. We had many family members celebrate the occasion and had lunch and cake at my parents house. I wasn't sure how well Gavin would behave during baptism since his bottom two teeth are coming in but Gavin's baptism went 99% better than Leilas. There was one other little boy baptized with Gavin and both boys were well behaved. Gavin was pretty quite and didn't mind the water.

My mom made him his baptism outfit. I think Gavin liked it.

Gavin says, "Hey, that's all the water I get!"

Leila loves to feed her dolls.
Leila's new bike, helmet and knee pads
Leila trying to escape.
Brittany Ann - the annoying, whiney, pee/poops on my floor puppy. You gotta love her (Ok I don't but everybody else does so I'm trying)
Gavin sits!
Gavin sleeping unswaddled for a nap in his crib.
Leila's new favorite thing to do. "I do pretty mama."
Gavin's loving his toys.

Leila has enough hair for pigtails! To bad she pulls them out.

Gavin HATES peas!

My cutie, Leila.

Leila saying Achoo...I thought the face was too cute!

Leila was jealous that Gavin was sitting with me so she had to squeeze her way inbetween.

Christmas in January

We celebrated Christmas in January with Chad's family. Here is an attempt at a group shot of 4 cousins 3 and under.

New Puppy

Chad surprised us by picking up the new puppy a week early and bringing it to his family Christmas. I was cutting Gavin's nails when Chad came with a box. I thought it was for his sister for Christmas but he set it down in front of me. I took off the lid and out came the puppy! Chad gave her a bath and when Leila got up we placed the puppy back in the box for Leila to open. We decided to name her Brittany.

They love the tub!

My kids sure love the tub! Leila begs for a bath every night but only gets one every other since there is just not that much time in a day and really she isn't that dirty.

Gavin loves sitting in the tub ring.

Leila has a doll designated for the tub since it's a "pee" doll and water gets stuck inside so it's never dry. She makes me give her soap/shampoo to wash her doll too.
ETA: Gavin and Leila got this new tub toy from Auntie Jessie for Christmas. Leila hates it since it sprays her with water but Gavin LOVES it! Grandma gave Gavin a new tub ring too. This one atually opens and it's easier to get him in and out. Leila likes to play with the attached toys more than Gavin does.

Gavin's Room

Here are some updated pictures of Gavins room. I bought him some nice curtains that match the color of his room pretty well. I hope to add Gavins name to the wall. I asked Auntie Jeanine to make him some wall letters for Christmas to match his room.

Leila is 21 Months Old!

Leila is 21 months old today! Only 3 months until she turns 2! Where has the time gone?

I swear it gets harder each month to get Leila sitting still long enough to take monthly pictures. I think I'll stop when she hits 2!

Here is Leila goofing around and running away...notice the bad shadows :(

And we got her to sit long enough to get a semi-decent picture.

And shes off

And into the bus she goes...Silly girl!

And Gavin decided he was going to snooze while Leila got her pictures taken.
