Renaissance Festival

We took the kids to the Renaissance Festival today for the first time.  Our day started with the kids meeting the fairy.  They were both shy but we convinced them to go up to her so they could get a gemstone and some fairy dust.

Then we went to the Childrens Realm for some coloring and wand making.  The King came to visit and gave them both a gold coin.

We stayed and watched some of the kids fairytales and they even got to participate.

Of course there was some adult entertainment too.

We let the kids have a pony ride.

Then of course there was the parade to the palace to get knighted, get a certificate and crown.  Then the kids wanted to say hi to the Queen who gave them other another gold coin.

And after a long day we drove home in silence as both kids slept the entire way.
