Leilas 4th Birthday Party

Leila chose to have a Dora themed party this year.  I made her dress again and she was adorable!

I also found some Dora press on nails and while they were cute they didn't stay on long.

Twenty-nine guests showed up for the party.  We had subs, fruit (pineapple, grapes and chocolate covered strawberries), veggie tray (carrots, celery, broccoli, and cauliflower), chips and coleslaw.

Then Leila got to open her gifts.  She waited patiently as Grandma Rindy read her each card.  She was so excited for the scooter.

We made the chocolate bowls for ice cream too.

Leila

I had to bring Leila in to get stitches after work.  I got home, stopped for the mail and when I pulled in the garage Chad was carrying her out.  He saw me pull up so he said mommy is home and Leila (who was sitting on the couch) crawled across the ottoman and went to look out the window.  Chad thinks she was going to put her hand on the window ledge but missed and smacked her face and fell between the wall and ottoman. The doctor though it might have been just a scratch but he wasn't sure since it was swollen so he suggested stitches.

She was waiting for the numbing gel and looks happy but she was really upset when she got the stitches.  She could see him out of the corner of her eye and I think that scared her more than it actually hurting.  She ended up getting 5. Poor baby!

Thanksgiving - a few days late

 We celebrated Thanksgiving today since it worked best for everybody to come.  I didn't take pictures of the food but I have lots of my niece and the kids.
